Thomas Labs’ Bird Biotic is made for the treatment of systemic and local bacterial infections in pigeons, caged and exotic birds.

Doxycycline is a broad-spectrum antibiotic that is used to treat gram-negative, as well as some gram-positive bacteria, anaerobic bacteria and other microorganisms. Bird Biotic, byThomas Labs, inhibits bacterial growth and its reproduction, helping eliminate the bacteria along with the infection.

Doxycycline is often prescribed by veterinarians for birds with Avian Chlamydiosis, which is a disease caused by the bacteria Chlamydia psittaci. Avian Chlamydiosis is commonly found in wild, pet and aviary birds.

Directions:

• Add contents of one packet (100mg) to 8 ounces of drinking water. Make a fresh solution daily. Continue treatment for 7-10 days.
