Provides a fast-acting, easy to administer solution to your dog's flea problem. Advantus OTC soft chews contain Imidacloprid*, an insect neurotoxin that works to paralyze and kill fleas. Starts working within an hour of administration and is 96% effective against adult fleas in 4 hours. May be given daily. Each chew contains 7.5 mg of imidacloprid.
Only for dogs 10 weeks of age or older and weighing more than 4 pounds. For dogs larger than 22 pounds, please see item E81F. You should weigh your dog before giving this medication to make sure you are using the right size for your dog. Do not give more than 1 tablet per day.
For best results, also treat your pet's environment, both indoors and outside, when you treat your pet. This product will not prevent a flea infestation and has no effect on ticks or mosquitoes. Elanco offers a full line of products for a complete flea control program for dogs .
